The Witcher Season 4 Trailer Is Here With Liam Hemsworth As Geralt
Geralt of Rivia, played by Liam Hemsworth, is back and taking up the White Wolf’s sword for the first time.
“Something is shifting on this Continent,” warns Yennefer in the first trailer for The Witcher Season 4. After the chaos of Season 3, Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri are scattered, bruised, and forced onto separate paths that will test their loyalty and destiny like never before.
Liam Hemsworth steps into the role of Geralt of Rivia, taking up the White Wolf’s sword for the first time. This season finds Geralt stripped down to his core purpose: finding and protecting Ciri. Joined by Milva (Meng’er Zhang) and Jaskier (Joey Batey), his journey begins where Season 3 left off, in the wake of Brokilon’s turmoil and a continent on the edge of war.
Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) faces a new kind of leadership as she works to rebuild the magical world torn apart by Aretuza’s destruction. Determined to safeguard Ciri, she pushes her power and her heart further than ever before. “We can live if we build an army of our own,” she declares, rallying allies against Vilgefortz’s growing threat.
Meanwhile, Ciri (Freya Allan) takes on a darker persona as “Falka,” joining the rogue group known as the Rats. Hardened by loss, she begins to embrace her more dangerous instincts; struggling to balance her compassion with her hunger for vengeance.
Season 4 also welcomes Laurence Fishburne as Regis, a mysterious barber-surgeon whose appearance marks a major turning point in Geralt’s journey. His addition signals deeper transformation and new layers to the show’s mythology.
As showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich explains, “We send them each on their own journey, very different from anything they’ve done before.” That separation, and the fight to reunite, fuels the season’s emotional core.
With kingdoms divided and destiny closing in, The Witcher Season 4 promises a world remade by blood, magic, and choice.
Sharpen your swords, The Witcher returns October 30 on Netflix.
